Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DO KIDS LEARN AT KIDSKETCHUP?

 They learn how to use their computer to create models of objects and buildings in three dimensions. SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, civil and mechanical engineering, film, and video game design.  

CAN MY CHILD WORK ON HIS/HER PROJECT AT HOME?

 Absolutely! We are thrilled to see students eager to program at home. If you would like to work on the project at home, we kindly ask you to make a copy of the project and use the copy for home use. Have fun with the copy, but please keep the original unmodified so it can be used in class and is on pace with the rest of the class. 

CAN MY CHILD BRING HIS/HER OWN LAPTOP TO CLASS?

 We will provide all the materials and supplies for our programs. We will provide laptops, software and any other materials.  

WHAT IS KIDSKETCHUP’S PROCEDURE FOR SNOW DAYS?

 If conditions are safe and schools are open, we will have our programs. KidSketchUp follows Federal Government closures. Please contact us, or check our website for additional information regarding our snow day schedule.

DO YOU HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?
